Dance Wars is a big flop!

Yes, you heard me. Dance Wars is a big flop!  Who cares if Carrie Anne just loves the singers and dancers that one of them makes her cry.  I don’t!

And Bruno with his weird attitude towards some of the women singers and dancers – isn’t that called sexual harassment?

Okay I have to admit one thing. I was too interested in the National Championship football game to watch the whole show last nite. After all Ohio State was playing and they’re my guys. But with their lousy performance last nite I was better off watching the cable news shows talk about the New Hampshire Primary than finish the agonizing two hours of Dance Wars.

Here’s how I see it. Every show that tries to spin off a hit show like Dancing with the Stars for example, is doomed to be a flop. The theme and idea of Dancing with the Stars is watching our favorite entertainers try to accomplish learning the correct technique for ballroom dancing. Not an easy task. We watch the show because we cheer our favorite stars on and boo the ones who really screw up.

Now I’m for giving everyone an opportunity to become a star. But to watch everyday people trying to make it big in 6 weeks is boring to me. It’s a nice venue for them, but I don’t care to be part of it.

So listen up - dump Dance Wars and bring on more Dancing with the Stars! Or else it’s back to watching cable news every night.
