A Potpourri of Thoughts
I’ve written blog articles for several years, but never had a chance to write what I really would like to write about – just a potpourri of thoughts! So here it goes.
I want to make my blog fun, informative, thought provoking, sometimes educational and throw in a couple of dashes here and there of creativity. As a freelance writer I’ve written everything from technical documents to marketing documents, web content to authoring several e-books. Well you get the idea.
Because this is my first web blog I thought I would tell you some things about me.
I grew up in middle-America with traditional values during the era of “free-love” and “flower power” (this dates me right?). Had great parents and a very influential grandmother who I loved dearly. Got married and still married to the same man and we have two wonderful, bright, sensitive, loving sons. They blessed us with two beautiful granddaughters. Oh can’t forget the Lab grandpups either!!
Just like most people I enjoy T.V. shows, movies, music, reading, camping, hiking, fishing, traveling and the list goes on and on. And of course I have lots of thoughts and opinions on all of these! I believe having opinions are important; it defines who you are and what you believe in. Right or wrong they make up you who are and where you fit in today’s society. So maybe I’ll throw in some political ideas and commentary on today’s society. But I won’t bore you or expect you to agree with me. Get your own blog!
They say as you grow older you tend to reflect on what has happened and hope that the future is better. Actually I want to be around for the future to see what’s going to happen. I never expect things to happen but accept and enjoy happenings as they unfold.
Now that I got my introduction out of the way, onto the potpourri of thoughts!
Until next time,
Linda

Linda,
Congratulationd, your Blog is the first one I ever read, I keep hearing about the political blogs but never visited any of the sights. Cool. Have you gotten many responses from your audience? When did you start writing this? Do you write on anything in particular or just what you feel like that day?
I think I’ll just stick to emails.

Hi Wally,
Just started my blog about a week ago. I will try not to get too heavy into political blogs because I just want this to be a fun and entertaining blog. Have a lot of ideas and thoughts I would like to share with everyone, so check every once in awhile to see what fun and crazy articles I write next.
